On November 26, 2024, Rashid, President of Ubanizadora, a Mexican company, led a delegation to visit China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC). The two parties held in-depth discussions on a combined cycle self-supplied power generation project at the LINK33 Industrial Park in Mexico and signed a cooperation agreement. Yan Weihua, General Manager of CNEEC, and Rashid signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies. Yuan Bo, Deputy General Manager of CNEEC, attended the signing ceremony.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Zhao Yapeng, Deputy General Manager of CNEEC's Engineering Department No. 4, arranged for Rashid and his delegation to visit the 6B gas/steam combined cycle cooling, heating, and power (CHP) system at a gas-fired thermal power plant in Beijing. During the visit, the two parties engaged in extensive discussions on potential collaboration in gas turbine projects. These practical exchanges not only facilitated in-depth communication on key cooperation projects but also led to preliminary arrangements for the upcoming gas turbine power plant (GTPP) project, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
