As the year draws to a close, a significant milestone was achieved in the Bangladesh World Bank substation project, undertaken by China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC). On November 27-28, 2024, the Muradnagar 132kV/33kV GIS substation was successfully energized, injecting new vitality into the local power supply network and serving as a celebratory achievement for the upcoming new year.

As the first substation to be energized under the Bangladesh World Bank substation project, this milestone has been highly commended by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB), the project owner, as well as regional substation operation and management authorities. Building on this success, the project team will actively consolidate resources, optimize processes, and strictly control project quality and progress to ensure the timely completion and smooth handover of all substations.
