As one of the largest manufacturers of wind-power electric generation sets in China, Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC) possesses manufacture bases of wind-power electric generation bases, including doubly-fed set, direct-drive set, semi-direct-drive set. Dongfang Electric (Leshan) New-energy equipment Co. Ltd, established by Sichuan Dongfeng Electric Machinery Works Co. Ltd in 2009, is one of the largest manufacturers of doubly-fed MV-level wind-power generation sets in our country. Its new factories, located in the new and high-tech development zone in Leshan, are built by China National Electric Equipment Corporation, with a floor space of 153 acres, including 64000 m2 manufacture factories of large-size and middle-size wind-power generators, which grants a yearly capacity of 2000 doubly-fed wind-power generators ranged from 1.5 MW to 5 MW.
